A Shoutout to Our Community: The Collector Known as Basileus
The connection between artist and collector is everything. It’s not just about the transaction; it’s about the shared vision. That’s why I want to give a massive shoutout to Basileus, one of the most dedicated collectors of my work.
Basileus, a prominent figure in the crypto art community since Ethereum’s early days, has amassed over 1,500 works of cryptoart. A uniquely benevolent and supportive collector, Basileus views crypto art as a transformative movement that democratizes the art industry.
Basileus has acquired a significant number of my pieces, from my early expressionist VR experiments to my latest Tezos collections. To have someone who understands the narrative behind the art—the Scottish grit, the London punk history, and the digital evolution—is incredibly humbling.

Collectors like Basileus aren’t just buying images; they are archiving a piece of cultural history. They are the patrons of the new digital age, proving that art born from the underground can thrive in the blockchain.
When I started creating Crypto Art, I wondered if anyone would truly “get” the fusion of my 50-year history with the digital frontier. Then I met Basileus.
Basileus didn’t just buy a piece; they bought the story. They collected the fanzine aesthetics, the glitch art, and the seaside expressionism. They saw the thread connecting my 1980s Amiga days to my 2026 NFT drops.
In a market often driven by speculation, Basileus represents the true spirit of collecting: a deep appreciation for the artist’s voice and the cultural moment. Having such a dedicated supporter in my corner is a privilege. It reminds me why I do this—to connect, to share, and to create something that lasts.
Basileus acquired one of my first mints in 2020 Roll The Dice on Superrare. He also owns Identity, which transferred to his wallet in March 2022.

Beyond individual acquisitions, our professional paths intersect in the broader crypto art community:
Here’s to Basileus and all the collectors who are building the future of art, one block at a time. To all my collectors: You are the heartbeat of this movement. Keep collecting, keep supporting, and let’s keep making noise together.
