The Day the World Turned Dayglo

3D Sculpture, based upon the song by X-Ray Spex. It expresses the bewilderment at the ruination of our world by humans. “I drove my polypropylene car on wheels of sponge, and pulled into a Wimpey bar to have a rubber bun, and watch the world turn dayglo.” Sale includes fully animated 3D file plus rendered high resolution images, GIF and 4K video file.

Song to the Siren

Inspired by Tim Buckley’s “Song to the Siren”. Mermaids were often thought of as being benevolent, whimsical creatures. But legend has it that they lured sailors to their deaths with haunting songs and unrequited love. This mermaid is full of attitude that is both powerful and intriguing. Witches and mythical creatures fascinate me. Real people were often accused of shape-shifting into these creatures. They were made scapegoats and blamed for all sorts of terrible events. Many were killed or persecuted as a result. Often their worst crime was being different and not fitting into wider society. This 3D Animated Sculpture was modeled in Gravity Sketch – in VR. Textured lit and rendered in Cinema 4D. Composited in After Effects. Full 2K 2048 x 1556 Sale includes high resolution images for preview purposes. I can render it for different aspects if required.
