The Artist’s Block

The Artist’s Block

Feelings of being frozen in one spot crippled the artist as they stared, depressed at the blank canvas. What is it about? What can I call it? What will people think? Should I give up? I can’t stop. I’m trapped. I have to carry
on regardless. My life is nothing without art. Acrylic paint on board –
scanned and digitally painted in Procreate and Photoshop. 2307 x

The Dressing Room

The Dressing Room

Retro Black & White digital illustration from the 1980’s | PNG Image 2550 x 1080 This is one of the first images I made using digital techniques in 1989. It was made to illustrate a story in a fanzine. The story was a document of young punks working within Soho’s red light district in London. This is the original drawing. I no longer have copies of the fanzine. I sketched the image with mechanical pencil on Conte board. It was then scanned and digitally inked in Photoshop.
