She was sick of being under-valued. sick of being pushed around. Of being judged. Put into a hole. Not allowed to prosper. So, with mop in hand she wiped the tired old art off the walls and invited her friends to shake things up. “Come on girls! Lets clean up in here!” She yelled with renewed optimism and unshakable vigor.

This original 1980’s illustration has been re-drawn at large poster size in typical 1980’s fanzine style.

Originally drawn with India ink on chalkboard. Resized and digitally reworked in Photoshop.

Tribal-punk figure animated to demonstrate the frustration of the millennial age. Feelings of anger make us want to protest but the lack of solidarity and energy forces us to retreat. Creating a contant loop of despair. This artwork takes the form of an animation of a digital sculpture, built by the artist in VR. The artist studied traditional sculpture in the 1980s. Conceived and created in Tiltbrush and Gravity Sketch software. Using traditional sculpture techniques similar to wood constructions and carving. Textured and rendered in Cinema 4D. Post production in After Effects.
