Angie Taylor is a well-known After Effects expert who is based in Brighton, UK. She specialises in animation, illustration and motion graphic design.
Angie is a graduate of Edinburgh College of Art. Since graduating she has enjoyed a twenty-five year career in television & film, producing props, animation, visual effects and motion graphics. Her clients include BBC, Channel 4, Adobe, Apple as well as countless independent production companies.
After Effects expert
Angie is an Adobe After Effects expert. She is regularly employed as a product specialist for Adobe, Apple and MAXON. She is also an expert in Cinema 4D, Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator.
Angie tours the world delivering software demonstrations and seminars on digital filmmaking and animation processes at international trade shows and conferences such as After Effects World, NAB, IBC, Flash on the Beach and Macworld. She also contributes video tutorials to Adobe TV.
Author
The author of three successful books. Two Creative After Effects books and Design Essentials for the motion media artist. Angie is also co-author (with Todd Kopriva) of After Effects CS5 Learn by Video, published by Peachpitt in association with Adobe Press. Angie is also an author of video training courses at Lynda.com. She is also a regular contributor to Digital Arts and 3D World (Creativebloq).
Trainer
Angie provides bespoke, one-to-one training and consultancy at her studio near Brighton – Creative Cabin. She limits the training she delivers to a few days per month so that she can continue her work as a freelance motion graphic desinger. This means she is always picking up new tips and tricks for the most efficient workflows.
